Organized by the Chinese Skating Association, it was the third event of six in the 2010–2011 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series.
The event was held in Beijing from 5–7 November, 2010. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters also earned points towards qualifying for the Grand Prix Final.
