Collin, 2000[1]Crepidula atrasolea is a species of small sea snail, a slipper snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Calyptraeidae, the slipper snails or slipper limpets, cup-and-saucer snails, and Chinese hat snails.[2]

Distribution
This species occurs in the Western Atlantic Ocean. This species occurs in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and north on that coast to Canada.
Description
The maximum shell size of this species is 16 mm in females; males are much smaller.
The maximum recorded shell length is 15.8 mm.[3]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[3] Maximum recorded depth is 20 m.[3]
