Playing career 2004–present

Craig MacDonald (Born October 3, 1982) is a professional hockey forward who currently plays for the Bloomington Prairie Thunder and is a native of Milton, Ontario.

Career

He played four years at Elmira College in Elmira, New York where he recoded 43 goals and 50 assists for a total of 93 points over his collegiate career.[1] During the 2004-05 season he led the ECAC West in conference play in points and tied with his team mate Jerrett Konkle for first in goals.[2] The night after losing in double overtime in the playoffs to end his collegiate career MacDonald was playing for the Elmira Jackals.[3] He played with the Jackals through the 2006 season then played with the New Mexico Scorpions until the team suspended operations after the 2008-09 season. MacDonald joined the Bloomington PrairieThunder of the International Hockey League the following season, setting not only a personal high of 44 goals and 46 assists for 90 points, but set a team record for scoring the Fastest Goal to start game making the goal 18 seconds into the game.[4] On February 7, 2011, he was traded by the PrairieThunder, which joined the Central Hockey League as a part of the CHL's acquisition of the IHL for the 2010–11 CHL season, to the Arizona Sundogs.[5]
