Corpus Christi is an American Christian metal band originating from Cincinnati, Ohio.[1][2] The term "Corpus Christi" is Latin for "body of Christ," which fits the band's Christian lyrics. They are currently signed to a five record contract on Victory Records and are on tour[when?] to promote their second release A Feast for Crows. Corpus Christi has also been featured on TVU's weekly countdown show, TMW.[3]

The Darker Shades of White (2009)

Forgoing the option of a self-titled album, Corpus Christi entitled their debut album The Darker Shades of White and released it on Victory Records. Hit songs and videos from this album include "Fight for Your King." Half way through the Scream The Prayer '09 tour, original drummer Justin Evans had unexpectedly left the band and Aaron Eckermann, the current drummer from the Christian metal band A Plea For Purging, filled in throughout the rest of the tour. The band has since then found a replacement drummer, Peter Keres. Will Henry has left the band and former Agraceful vocalist Chris Roetter is doing vocals for the rest of their tours.

A Feast for Crows (2010)

Corpus Christi's second release, entitled A Feast for Crows (album) brings a new type of sound from the band. Jarrod Christman is the only remaining member from their first release The Darker Shades of White. The rest of the band is new, therefore changing the sound of Corpus Christi. On June 29, the band released the first single, called Monuments, off of A Feast for Crows (album). The album was still released on Victory Records on July 6, 2010. A Feast for Crows shows a great deal of change for the Christian Metalers, who toured in the summer of 2010 with bands like Divide the Sea and Judges.
