TVU is a Christian rock television network which is viewed daily through the internet and aSatellite system called "Sky Angel". TVU began in 2001, and is owned and operated by Spirit Communications Inc. and is a fully non-profit station. TVU also has no commercials.

The music consistis of Christian, Rock, Pop, Techno, Screamo, Hardcore, Metal, Metalcore, Rap, Alternative etc. TVU's target audience is people from ages 12-24. TVU is known for it's christian message, and also anti drugs, violence, and drinking and driving messages. TVU is viewer supported and has a fund raiser twice a year called "Unleash the Music" to try to raise funds to still stay on air.

TVU's Most Wanted or "TMW", is a countdown of the top videos of the week (Hosted by Jared, previously hosted by Obidiah)

Battery

Battery is a Hardcore/Metal show on TVU, and plays bands such as:
As I Lay Dying, Underoath, Norma Jean, Demon Hunter, Haste The Day, August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada etc. (Hosted by Smitty)

One Mil

One Mil is a hip hop/rap show on TVU, and plays artist such as:
KJ52, GRITS, Mars Ill etc.

Normal Programming

The normal programming (24/7 music videos) plays all genre of music and plays artists such as:
12 Stones, P.O.D., Underoath, Relient K, Flyleaf, Anberlin, Family Force 5, Blindside, Tobymac, Lifehouse, Emery, Switchfoot etc. and is hosted by:Obidiah, Smitty, Vincent, Jared, Laine and Sopheat
