Cornwell Tools is a professional tool manufacturer for the automotive and aviation industries.[1] The company is based out of Wadsworth, Ohio. Cornwell produces most of their own hard line of tools such as ratchets, sockets, wrenches, pry bars, and chisels at their Albion, Pennsylvania and Mogadore, Ohio plants. They also carry allied air, electric, and diagnostic tools, with quality considered on par with Mac Tools and Matco Tools. They also carry a similar lifetime warranty on all hand tools.[2]

The company was founded in 1919 by Eugene Cornwell, a blacksmith from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Cornwell is the only privately owned mobile tool distribution business in the U.S.[3]

Cornwell Tools are sold by local tool distributors who own a territory by means of a franchise.[4] The franchise owner drives to the work locations of potential customers, and typically offers financing to individuals buying their tools. Cornwell trucks are white with large blue and black Cornwell Ironman logos on their sides.
