In addition to the companies that have actual Mediabox systems set up for their organization, there are over 6,881 Consumer Products Licensing companies and over 2,311 Domestic & International Broadcast companies registered as users on one or more Mediabox sites.
Mediabox-PA is a hosted approvals workflow application that allows users to submit all of their product design artwork files using assets sourced from the Mediabox-DAM application. The application allows individuals to review artwork online and attach online comments with each artwork file, and manage the workflow order of projects and submissions between users. Users also use the system to login, review comments, and submit new or next stage product designs. Users can have access to both Mediabox-DAM and Mediabox-PA applications using the same login and password. The system allows archiving of project submission and comment records, and historical and real-time reporting within and across projects.
Mediabox-DAM can be used as an asset management system for digital assets across various departments, as well as a means of delivering digital assets to external users. Mediabox-DAM’s key functionality includes being able to control access rights to specific content folders within the folder tree, controlling access rights by asset, asset aliasing to enable an asset to appear in multiple locations from a single source file, adding up to 100 unique metadata fields per asset, controlling asset and folder displays by data ranges, creating multiple asset lists, complex search, support for video, audio, image files, documents, etc.
Mediabox-DM is integrated with Mediabox-PA and can be linked to third party contracts and royalty applications to automatically track deal memo terms and regulate the types of projects a licensee can start in the approvals system. The Deal Memo module can be customized to capture deal memo terms including product categories and sub-categories, territories, markets and channels, contract start and end dates, contractual samples, financials and other relevant terms.

Software as a service
The concept behind SaaS is to leverage a centralized infrastructure and web-based software application which is then customized to match your corporate brand and personalized data and workflows. SaaS is the outsourcing alternative to investing directly in the hardware, software and IT staff that would be needed if you were to build or buy and manage a solution in-house.
