"Ciao Bella" is the third and final single from Don Omar's third studio album iDon released on August 18, 2009 through Machete, VI.[1] The song is written by himself, Paul Irizarry and Eddie Montilla, and produced by Echo. The song is not considered a successful single,[by whom?] due to poor airplay and promotion.

Background and promotion

Before the song was released as single, Don Omar confirmed through his Twitter account that he had recorded a salsa version of the song.[2] The salsa version was the version used in promotion of the single. A music video was planned for the song, but it was cancelled later, due to start recording his first-titled album Prototype 2.0, now titled Meet the Orphans.
