It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building,[1] and is now a redundant church in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.[2] It was declared redundant on 28 July 1972, and was vested in the Trust on 13 November 1973.[3]
The church, which is 62 by 12 feet (19 × 3.7 m)[4] is built of local Ham stone with a Welsh slate roof.[1]
The interior includes Victorian stained glass, and a 13th century effigy of a woman on the sill of the south window. The font is Norman.[2] In the porch is a Daisy Wheel mark which is believed to be a protection against ill-fortune and are common in England and Wales.[5]
The parish is part of the Winsmoor benefice within the Crewkerne and Ilminster deanery.[6]
