Paralucia pyrodiscus, commonly known as the Fiery- or Dull Copper, is a butterfly belonging to the family Lycaenidae.

Taxonomy

The Fiery Copper was first described by Rudolph Rosenstock in 1885.[1]

Distribution and habitat

It is found in Eastern Australia from central Queensland through eastern New South Wales and into eastern Victoria with outlying populations in north Queensland and central Victoria.

The caterpillars feed on Bursaria spinosa
