Chris Timberlake (born April 28, 1985 in Washington, D.C., United States) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player in the Philippines who currently plays for the Meralco Bolts. He was drafted in the 8th slot (7th overall) in the 2009 Philippine Basketball Association's 2009 Rookie Draft by the Ginebra Kings, but was traded to Purefoods in the same week.

Prior to being drafted in the Philippine Basketball League (PBL), Timberlake competed in the 2009 Flex Unity Cup as Point Guard for the Oracle Titans. While with the Titans, he helped the squad capture their 7th straight PBL Championship. As one of their key players, Timberlake also nabbed the Finals MVP trophy. Timberlake is known for his quiet disposition; onlookers have compared him to NBA stars like Chris Paul and Tim Hardaway. Timberlake prides himself on observation, discipline, hard work, and prayer to get him to the next level.

He previously played for the PBL team Toyota Sparks during the Flex Linoleum Cup. The team failed to advance and decided to take a hiatus for the next conference. Timberlake was acquired by the Titans during the dispersal draft.

College basketball career

Timberlake attended the University of North Florida (UNF) under a full athletic scholarship. Under Head Coach Matt Kilcullen, Timberlake started as point guard all 4 years and was captain of the team for 2 years. Timberlake helped the team transition from a NCAA Division II school into NCAA Division I. Timberlake still holds UNF school records for total number of games played, total number of games started, total number of minutes played, total number of career steals, total number of career 3-pointers made, and total number of 3-pointers attempted. He is second in career assists and the fourth player to be inducted into the UNF 1000 Points Club.

Timberlake graduated in 2008 with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Religious Studies.
