Chow Yei-ching

Dr Chow Yei-ching, GBS, OBE, is the Chairman and Managing Director of Chevalier International Holdings, an international conglomerate, comprising property and hotel management, engineering, construction, insurance, investments, information technology and food/beverage businesses. The Group holds two publicly listed companies in Hong Kong - Chevalier International Holdings, Ltd. and Chevalier Pacific Holdings, Ltd.^[1]

Philanthropy

Dr Chow is actively involved in charitable events and public service. He has supported the development of various universities in Hong Kong and the Mainland by sponsoring a broad range of programmes to enrich educational opportunities and cultivate new talent. In addition, Dr Chow has established the Chow Yei-ching Foundation and the Chevalier Culture & Education Foundation, which foster cultural, academic, artistic, and educational exchanges between Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.

Political career

In 2001, Dr Chow was appointed Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Hong Kong.
