Studios
The facility houses two main studio rooms, both of which are available for use by the public and contain state of the art equipment.[1] The studio houses a former Masonic Chapel, from which the studio takes its name. It is one of the few fully residential high standard studios in England.[2]
Complex
Studio 1 - one of two studios - is formed from numerous buildings of the village, including a former Wesleyan Church, school classrooms, a blacksmith's workshop and parts of the village farm. The numerous buildings were restored to join all buildings into one complex.[3]
The second studio, Studio 2, is formed from what was once the village shop, as well as a former post office. The studio was extended to include a control room.[4]
