Daytona North is an unincorporated community in Flagler County, Florida, United States. It is located south of Florida State Road 100 and west of County Road 305, west of Bunnell. The community is part of the Palm Coast Metropolitan Statistical Area. Its Population is Possibly over 2,000 in 2009.
The area is also known as Mondex (after the man who originally owned the land) and is a mixture of low to medium income families with housing varied from trailers to double wide trailers to concrete - block- stucco homes similarly found in Palm Coast. Other than the main county roads, the residential roads in this area are unpaved dirt with the exception of about four streets. There is ample farm land surrounding the area, much of which produces, sod and some cattle.
