The northern terminus of SR 241 is a
trumpet interchange at SR 236 (Duke Street) from which it follows Telegraph Road southbound through an interchange with Interstate 495 (Capital Beltway) at exit 176. It then turns left onto North Kings Highway, while Telegraph Road continues as State Route 611. The southern terminus of SR 241 is at the intersection of Richmond Highway (US 1) and South Kings Highway (State Route 633) with North Kings Highway.History
SR 241 appeared on its present route in the 1933 renumbering, following the former route of State Route 717, which itself appeared in 1930.
