Decker Prairie is an unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Texas, United States.
Education
Tomball Independent School District operates schools in the area. The district operates Decker Prairie Elementary School in the community.[1] Students west of State Highway 249 who are in bilingual programs are zoned to Rosehill Elementary School in unincorporated Harris County. Students east of SH 249 who are in bilingual programs are zoned to Tomball Elementary School in Tomball.[2] High school-aged residents go to Tomball High School in Tomball.
Lone Star College (originally the North Harris Montgomery Community College District) serves the community. The territory in Tomball ISD joined the community college district in 1982.[3] The system operates the Fairbanks Center in unincorporated Harris County; Fairbanks Center is a part of Lone Star College–CyFair.
