Marquette UniversityProfession attorney David A. Cullen is a Democratic Party member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 13th Assembly District since a special election on May 1, 1990 to fill a vacancy.
Cullen currently serves on the Assembly Committee on Consumer Protection and Personal Privacy, the Joint Audit Committee, the Assembly Committee on Insurance, and the Commission on Uniform State Laws.
Cullen received his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1981, and his law degree from Marquette University in 1984. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and practiced law for six years prior to being elected to the State Assembly. In 1983, he was elected to the Milwaukee School Board and served continuously until 1990. He was President of the School Board from 1987 until 1990.
Cullen and his wife have two children, Katie and Eddie.
