Dominican Today is an online, English-language Newspaper based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It is the first English language online news publication in the country.

This eDaily provides local and international news, Dominican Republic guides and access to real estate and car portals. It claims to be the most up to date source of information on the Dominican Republic.

Closest rival is now Dominican Central.[1]

The site Dominican Today[2] was launched on March 23, 2005, and is owned by the media group Portal Alta Tech RD (PATRD), its objective is to cover all the country's English news.

Its founder, Avishai Harel (1947-2006), a native of Israel also established the top Web design company in the country, Merit Designs.[3]
