Nayapati is a village in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4056 and had 761 households in it.[1]

The first ever electedchairman of nayapati vdc was Mr. Jayaram Thapa. He was from Nepali congress party.
