Blăjeni — Commune — Coordinates: 46°14′N 22°54′E / 46.233°N 22.9°E Country Romania County Hunedoara County Population (2002)[1] 1,530 Time zone EET (UTC+2) – Summer (DST) EEST (UTC+3) Blăjeni (Hungarian: Blezseny) is a commune in Hunedoara County, Romania. It is composed of eight villages: Blăjeni, Blăjeni-Vulcan, Criş, Dragu-Brad, Groşuri, Plai, Reţ and Sălătruc.
At the 2002 census, 100% of inhabitants were ethnic Romanians and 99.4% were Romanian Orthodox.
