Rona de Sus — Commune — Coordinates: 47°54′N 24°3′E / 47.9°N 24.05°E Country Romania County Maramureş County Population (2002)[1] 4,698 Time zone EET (UTC+2) – Summer (DST) EEST (UTC+3) Rona de Sus (Hungarian: Felsőróna; German: Oberrohnen; Ukrainian: Bишня Рівня) is a commune in Maramureş County, Romania. It is composed of two villages: Coştiui (Rónaszék; Rohnen; Коштіль) and Rona de Sus.
At the 2002 census, 86.5% of inhabitants were Ukrainians, 9% Hungarians and 4.4% Romanians. 72.9% were Ukrainian Orthodox, 10.8% stated they belonged to another religion, 8.6% were Roman Catholic and 4.8% Greek-Catholic.
