Vişeu de Sus (German: "Oberwischau", Hungarian: "Felsővisó") is a town in Maramureş County, northern Romania, located at the confluence of the Vişeu and the Vaser. It has an area of 443 km².

Its population is under 17,000. The town is in a hilly area, and most of the people live in the valleys:
