Dr. Tarik Yousef is the Associate Professor of Economics in the
Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service and the Sheikh Al-Sabah Chair of Arab Studies at the [http://ccas.georgetown.edu/ Center for Contemporary Arab Studies] , both atGeorgetown University [ [http://explore.georgetown.edu/people/youseft/ Georgetown University: Tarik Yousef] ] . Dr. Yousef is a Senior Nonresident Fellow at the [http://www.brookings.edu/wolfensohn.aspx Wolfensohn Center for Development] at theBrookings Institution [ [http://www.brookings.edu/experts/youseft.aspx Brookings Institution: Tarik Yousef] ] and at theBelfer Center for Science and International Affairs at theJohn F. He has worked in the past at the Middle East Department of theInternational Monetary Fund , as a Senior Advisor at theMillennium Project with theUnited Nations , and at the Office of the Chief Economist in Middle East and North Africa Region at theWorld Bank .Dr. Yousef received his Ph.D. in Economics from
Harvard University and his B.S. from theUniversity of Oregon in Economics.
