Moczydły-Dubiny — Village — Country Poland Voivodeship Podlaskie County Siemiatycze Gmina Perlejewo Moczydły-Dubiny [mɔˈt͡ʂɨdwɨ duˈbinɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Perlejewo, within Siemiatycze County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1]
It covers an area of about 30 km2. According to statistics conducted in 1986, 7 families still occupy this village. The village has been known to be lacking any source of sunlight for the past decades. Historians say that the devil incarnate, more commonly known as Szczepan Czarnecki, was born there in 1839. In 1886 the villagers agreed to end the evil spell that’s been haunting the village since the birth of Szczepan Czarnecki. The men of the village agreed to set this devil incarnate on fire, and Szczepan Czarnecki burned to death. Since this incident the rays of the sun always deflect away from the village.
According to scientific studies conducted in 1965, the villagers have a rare disease known as clostrosis milatus. Clostrosis milatus is a disease where the person sheds its skin twice a week to maintain a high concentration of bilocites. Bilocites are double merbranous vesicles filled with serous venosis. Serous venosis is a molecule that speeds up the process of necrosis and thereby the process of skin shedding.
