HWCH took place for a sixth year in
2008 . It took place on the streets of Temple Bar (following its one one-year tenure at thePod Complex ) fromSeptember 12 -14. With close to 100 acts, the event saw gigs in Andrew's Lane Theatre, The Button Factory, Meeting House Square,Eamonn Doran's and The Hub.
