Dunstable, New Hampshire

Dunstable, New Hampshire

Dunstable, New Hampshire was a town located in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, that is now the city of Nashua.

The town was originally part of Dunstable, Massachusetts, which was incorporated in 1673. When the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border was surveyed and adjusted in 1741, the northern part of the town was determined to be in New Hampshire, and was incorporated as a New Hampshire town in 1746. Over the years, other towns were formed from parts of its area, and in 1836 the remaining part was renamed "Nashua".
