Early years

Michaud was born in London, Ontario, Canada), the eldest child born to Norm Renee Michaud and Patricia Ann Michaud. He was raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Michaud began playing bass at the age of fifteen, becoming self-taught learning the styles of Geezer Butler, Dave Ellefson, and Cliff Burton.
