Pedro Vicente "Pecente" Fonseca (born January 21, 1935, in São Vicente) is a retired Brazilian basketball player who played as a point guard.[1] Among others, he is one of the champion players of the 1959 World Championship in Chile.[1]

As a professional player, he played for many clubs, such as São Vicente, Santos and XV de Piracicaba.[1] He played 26 official matches for the Brazilian national basketball team, scoring 151 points, and winning the 1959 World Championship.[1]

He also won the bronze medals for the Pan-American Games of 1955 and 1959 and the South American bronze medal in 1955.[1]

Currently, he is the technical coordinator of the Clube de Campo de Piracicaba youth basketball teams, and is the director of AVEBESP, which is the veteran basketball players association of São Paulo state.[2]
