Dheri Zardad — Town and union council — Country Pakistan Province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa District Charsadda District Tehsil Time zone PST (UTC+5) Dheri Zardad is a town and union council of Charsadda District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 34°2'44N 71°50'9E and has an altitude of 258 metres (849 feet).[2] It was built by Zardad khan popalzay Durrani who was the Governor of the then Peshawar province in the Afghan rule of Durranis,when he immigrated to then subcontinent of India-reasons for immigration could not be acertained .The land was purchased by Zardad khan and the village was built as a hunting place.He enjoyed the picturesque sunset reflected in the river kabul from the hujra (house for men)which now belongs to Capt Behram Khan Durrani the first Master mariner of the Durrani clan who owned the place by inheritance as a cosharer. This village has been destroyed by floods of 2010 and is being rebuilt by the owners.Behram khan has two sons ,Zahid khan Durrani a leading banker and Sajid khan Durrani a renowned Oncologist who also are good philanthropists.Dr Sajid Khan Durrani in turn has two sons Mobeen khan Durrani and Ahmed khan Durrani named after his ancestors.
