Mallavolu is a village and large Panchayati Raj in Guduru Mandal, in Krishna district, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.
The population of the village is more than 12,000.The lord Siva Temple of 15th century is known for its Divinity. One more temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is also located in the heart of village.

Vinnakota Venkata Ratnam ZP(Zilla Parishad) High School provides high education not only to people of Mallavolu but also to the people of nearby villages like polavaram, Ramanna Peta, dodlapalem and Idiugollla palli, Chatari vari palem, etc.....
The main occupation of the people is agriculture, cloths weaving and imitation jewellery. People in village grow paddy and grams.This village is covered with greenery throughout the year. This village receives moderate to high rains and highly irrigated with Krishna River water.
Mallavolu PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Society) It was established in 1982 by Parnam Balaji Rao, S/O Parnam Mahalakshmiah Naidu, inaugurated by Ramakantha Reddy(IAS), then collector of Krishna District. It was established for the benefit of farmers in Mallavolu and many surrounding villages. And it received the best PACS award by the hands of the then finance minister K.Rosiaha.The main functions of the Society are to give Money Loans, Fertilizers, Pesticides and to fulfill other Day to Day farming needs. This Society is renowned for paying the loans on time back to central bank from which loans are taken to serve the farmers.
Mallavolu is well connected to Port City Machilipatnam by road. It can reach by hiring a auto from ADDAROAD (which is 5 km from Machilipatnam city on NH9 Pune to Machilipatnam Highway) while coming from Vijayawada.
