National Express West Midlands route 374 is a bus route operating in the West Midlands, England.
History
Previously the route operated at a half hourly frequency, but from April 2008 this changed to just an hourly frequency. This bus service has no direct competition. Other bus services in Walsall that do benefit from direct competition in contrast have had their frequencies increased, an example being service 405 between Walsall and Yew Tree Estate recently doubled in frequency from every 15 minutes to every 7/8 minutes.
The route was also, at one stage, rerouted in the Chuckery area. However, the locals successfully launched a campaign to reroute it back to its normal line of route.
Present
Service 374 links Walsall with the affluent area of Park Hall (referred to as Gillity Village) via Chuckery. Despite the reduction in frequency, the service is still run commercially.
