State Route 13 begins at the Alabama state line and continues north to intersect the
Natchez Trace Parkway at Collinwood andU.S. Route 64 / State Route 15 at Waynesboro. North of Waynesboro, the route begins to parallel theBuffalo River . SR-13 follows the Buffalo River until its junction withInterstate 40 , Exit 143. It then heads north to its intersection withU.S. Route 70 / State Route 1 at Waverly. From Waverly, State Route 13 heads northeast to cross theCumberland River at Clarksville. In Clarksville, it becomes concurrent to U.S. Route 41A Bypass. After going up the west side of the city, it leaves the bypass and heads east toU.S. Route 79 , which it follows intoKentucky .See also
