Lamar Consolidated Independent School District

Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, also Lamar Consolidated ISD or LCISD, is a public school system in the U.S. state of Texas within the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown Metropolitan Area.

Lamar CISD covers the cities of Richmond, Rosenberg, Simonton, Thompsons, a very small portion of Sugar Land, most of Fulshear, the village of Pleak, the community of [http://www.visitlakemont.com/ Lakemont] , the unincorporated areas of Booth, Crabb, Cumings, and Foster, and most of the unincorporated rural areas (including areas in Sugar Land's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ)) in central Fort Bend County. It also serves high school students from the nearby Kendleton Independent School District.
