Charles G. Myers (b. 1810 Madrid, St. Lawrence County, New York) was an American lawyer and politician.
Life
He was educated at the St. Lawrence Academy in Potsdam, New York. In 1825, he began to study law in the office of Governeur Ogden at Waddington, NY, was admitted to the bar in 1832, and commenced practice in Ogdensburg, New York.
He was Surrogate of St. Lawrence County from 1844 to 1847. He was a member from St. Lawrence County of the New York State Assembly in 1848. He was District Attorney of St. Lawrence County from 1848 to 1853.
He was one of the directors of "The Great Northern Lead Company" which was incorporated on September 8, 1852, at Rossie, New York, and operated a lead mine for a few years.
He was New York State Attorney General from 1860 to 1861, elected on the Republican and American tickets..
He was a canal appraiser from 1873 to 1879.
