Over the past fourteen years 80/20 Inc. has offered a free plug-in for the
AutoCAD design software. The most current version of thissoftware is called AutoQuoterX. It allows users to design frames using only 80/20 Inc. T-slotted profiles and most matching accessories. When a design is finished, a user can then generate a bill of materials used in that design.80/20 Inc. also publishes a free profile stress
calculator that can be used to figure the stress a given load will place on a T-slotted profile. 80/20 Inc. calls this software Deflection CalculatorX.
