Davon Jefferson is an American professional basketball player with BC Triumph Lyubertsy in Russia.

High school

Jefferson prepped at Lynwood High School and went to a fifth year prep school at The Patterson School in Patterson, North Carolina. Rivals.com listed Jefferson as a five-star recruit, the 15th rated prospect of the entire 2006 class and as the No. 3 player out of California, behind Brook Lopez and Ryan Coli. He is currently being given a chance by the Miami Heat in the 2010 NBA Summer League to showcase his skills and pursue his professional career in the NBA.

College

He played collegiately with the University of Southern California (USC). Jefferson was all Pac-10 honorable mention and first team all-freshman. [1] He went undrafted in the 2008 NBA Draft.

Pro career

Jefferson entered the 2008 NBA Draft and hired an agent, thereby ending his college eligibility. However, Jefferson was not drafted. After being undrafted Davon signed his 1st professional contract with Maccabi Haifa B.C. in Ligat Winner in Israel, by signing this contract in the Romema Arena became Davon the "Big Man" of the team.[2] The 2010-11 season he spent playing in Lyon, France for ASVEL. In July 2011 he signed a one-year contract with BC Triumph Lyubertsy in Russia.[3]
