- Sound of... (BBC poll)
Sound of... is an annual poll of music critics and industry figures to find the most promising new music talent. It is conducted by the
BBC News website , which publishes a top 10 list each January.Almost 150 critics, editors and broadcasters took part in the most recent survey, "Sound of 2008". It was won by London-based soul singer Adele.
