Dalel Singh is an Indian volleyball player who was awarded the country's highest sporting honor, the Arjuna Award, in 1990.[1]
He was born the village of Amin, close to Kurukshetra.[citation needed] He picked up[vague] Volleyball at theKurukshetra University and went on to become the Captain of the Indian national team.[citation needed] After retirement, he went back to academia and completed his doctorate from Panjab University, Chandigarh.[citation needed]
Currently, he is the Director of Physical Education and Sports at Kurukshetra University. He is the only person to have played for the national team for twelve consecutive years.[citation needed]
