- Daniela Klemenschits

Daniela Klemenschits (13 November 1982 – 9 April 2008) was an Austrian doubles tennis player.[1]
She was born in Vienna. Klemenschits played doubles with her twin sister Sandra on the WTA Tour and the ITF women's circuit until 2006.[1] The sisters won 20 titles on the ITF circuit and, although they failed to win an event on the WTA Tour, were in the top 100 of the WTA doubles ranking in 2005.[1]
In January 2007, both Klemenschits and her twin were diagnosed with a rare form of abdominal cancer, squamous cell carcinoma, forcing their retirement.[1] Fellow tennis players rallied for Klemenschits and donated money to pay off the removal of several tumours and the expensive medical care required.[1] Daniela died on 9 April 2008 in Salzburg, aged 25.[1] Sandra, however, survived and returned to the doubles tour in July 2008. As of 31 May 2009 she was ranked 150 in the WTA doubles rankings.
