As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 497 people, 184 households, and 130 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 533.9 people per square mile (206.3/km²). There were 193 housing units at an average density of 207.3/sq mi (80.1/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.60% White, 0.20% Native American, 0.20% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.80% of the population.There were 184 households out of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.6% were married couples living together, 4.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.3% were non-families. 22.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.25.
In the village the population was spread out with 27.0% under the age of 18, 9.5% from 18 to 24, 29.0% from 25 to 44, 19.3% from 45 to 64, and 15.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 91.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.3 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $51,964, and the median income for a family was $56,625. Males had a median income of $36,563 versus $21,618 for females. The
