Pınar Karşıyaka (2011-present)Mire De Juan Chatman (born October 24, 1978 in Garland, Texas) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Pınar Karşıyaka. The 1.87 m point guard is a Texas Pan American University alumnus.
Pro career
Chatman made a name in Europe playing in the ULEB competitions (Euroleague, Uleb Cup) with BK Ventspils and Pau Orthez. A great passer, he led the 2004-05 Euroleague in assists with 6.2 per game and in the next 2006 season he won the ULEB Cup championship with Dynamo Moscow which has led him to big salaries in Europe ever since.
Chatman joined Beşiktaş Cola Turka for 2008-09 season.[1] and in the 2009-10 season Chatman ranked within the top three players in scoring, assists and steals.[2] In 2010-2011 Chatman was joined in the back court by Allen Iverson.[3] In summer of 2011, he signed a one-year contract with Pınar Karşıyaka.[4]
