As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 314 people, 123 households, and 87 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 919.9 people per square mile (356.6/km²). There were 152 housing units at an average density of 445.3/sq mi (172.6/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 94.59% White, 0.32% African American, 0.96% Native American, 1.59% from other races, and 2.55% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.14% of the population.There were 123 households out of which 36.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.5% were married couples living together, 11.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.5% were non-families. 22.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 3.01.
In the town the population was spread out with 27.4% under the age of 18, 5.4% from 18 to 24, 32.2% from 25 to 44, 22.6% from 45 to 64, and 12.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 127.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 107.3 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $39,500, and the median income for a family was $47,708. Males had a median income of $34,750 versus $23,250 for females. The
