Gorenje Kamenje is a settlement in the hills to the north of the town of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia. The entire Novo Mesto municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Jugovzhodna Slovenija statistical region.^[2]

The local church is dedicated to the Holy Spirit and belongs to the Mirna Peč parish. It is a medieval building with an 18th extension and belfry.^[3]
