Maqdisi

Maqdisi or Muqaddasi (Arabic: مقدسي‎) is an Arabic nisbat implying origin in Jerusalem. The word is derived from the Semitic triliteral root Q-D-S (meaning "holy") to denote the Arabic name for Jerusalem, Al Quds.

Al-Maqdisi (المقدسي) is used as an appellative to refer to a number of people, including:
