Nirvino was founded in 2007 by University of California, San Diego graduates Christian Schroeder and Cornell University graduate Meli James. Their goal was to create an easy way to separate good wine from bad. Nirvino's technology combines wine reviews from print, online, and broadcast wine critics into 1 simple score. Nirvino's online community users can search, review, share, and shop for wine on the site.
The site has been noted on CNET TV,[1]Apple Inc.,[2] and the The Huffington Post.[3]
