Magical Melons is the sequel to Caddie Woodlawn, a popular children's novel by Carol Ryrie Brink. Set between 1863 and 1866, the book takes the form of a collection of stories about the Woodlawn family, with many stories overlapping chronologically with the first book. This book is currently sold under the title "Caddie Woodlawn's Family (Magical Melons)".
