Clive Young (born 31 May 1948) is the Anglican Bishop of Dunwich[3] in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.[4]

Educated at King Edward VI Grammar School, Chelmsford[5] and St John's College, Durham,[6] Young was ordained a deacon in 1972 and began his career with a curacy at Neasden. He was then successively Priest in charge, then Rural Dean of Old Ford, London; Vicar of St Andrew, Holborn and finally (before his elevation to the Episcopate) Archdeacon of Hackney.

He is a member of the Hymn Society of Great Britain and Ireland, acting as its conference chaplain in 2001.[7]

In his spare time he is a keen gardener.[citation needed]
