He is a keyboardist, guitarist, songwriter and producer. He also DJ's around the world both solo and with other band members.[1] His vocals are featured in two of the bands songs: "International Dateline" and "Versus".
He met Reuben Wu in Liverpool in 1994 and formed Ladytron with him in 1999, along with Mira Aroyo and Helen Marnie. In 2003-2005, Daniel Hunt and Reuben Wu set up the Liverpool club night Evol and were then involved in the Korova bar in the city.[2]
