Khmu language

The Khmu language is the language of the Khmu people of the northern Laos region. It is also spoken in Vietnam.

Alternate names include Kmhmu, Khmu', Khamu, Kamu, Kammu, Khamuk, Kamhmu, Khomu, Mou, Pouteng, Pu Thenh, Tenh, Theng, Lao Terng.

Linguistically, the Khmu belong to the Khmuic branch of the Mon-Khmer family of languages.
