Trivia

*Bruce Springsteen makes an unusual guest appearance on the title track, with a brief rap at 9:03 (including an altered quotation from his own song "Born to Run").
*The song "Real Good Time Together" dates back to Reed's earlier band, The Velvet Underground. The studio version of the song recorded by the Velvets in 1969 was released on the compilation album "Another View" (1986).
*The title track, "Street Hassle" was featured in the final scene of the 2005 film "The Squid and the Whale" and appears on the film's soundtrack.
*"Street Hassle" was covered by Simple Minds on their 1984 album "Sparkle in the Rain" and was adapted by Spacemen 3 as "Ode to Street Hassle" on their 1987 album "The Perfect Prescription".
*Recorded and engineered using a process known as Stereo Binaural Sound created by Manfred Schunke. This technique is meant to create a more "3D" soundstage, and is best appreciated with headphones.
